I first want to apologize for such a late letter from me. This year has been filled with so much uncertainty, so many challenges and everyone trying to get back to some sort of normalcy. Because of this, we will not be having Russell’s Annual Cick Cancer Birthday Bash in October.
Last year due to your incredible support, facing Covid and no Annual Event, we were able to donate over $8000 to Dana-Farber in Londonderry, aiding those patients in need. In 7 short years we have raised over $100,000 to help cancer patients in New Hampshire. The need is still great, and your continued support is needed.
With that being said, we will continue Fundraising as we did last year.
Here are some ways You can help…
Cash/Check donations: Are the best way to get your donation working the fastest. You can mail it directly to us.
Our website: www.cickcancer.org you can donate there, using your credit card.
Matching donations: If you donate using cash/check/cc, please check with your workplace. Many have matching gift programs to make your donation go farther. Remember, we are a 501c3 organization.
Amazon Smile: We are a registered 501c3 with Amazon. All you need to do is choose Cick Cancer Foundation as the charity to receive the added benefits of that program.
Walmart Registry for Good: This is just like a bridal/wedding registry, you can go online and choose items to be donated to our Foundation. Right now, gift cards are the easiest way to help. We will get those to cancer patients in need.
Canister Program: Does your workplace allow canisters, or do you know a business that you frequent, where we can put our canisters to collect funds? Your help not only finding places but volunteering to put out and collect funds would be appreciated.
Do you have time to volunteer a few hours to help search for grants online?
Do you have a great idea and are ready to implement it to raise funds?
Donations of gift certificates for groceries or gas as well as prepaid MasterCard and Visa. These would be donated to cancer patients through Dana-Farber’s Patient Assistance Program.
Do you have a great idea for online auctions of high value items? I am sure many of you will want to donate items like this but without an event this year we would need a method of auctioning them off as well as getting a great return.
Help in maintaining our mailing list.
Help creating an Email list so we can save money on postage.
Help in writing press releases for various media outlets.
Do you have skills using Adobe software to create graphics, etc. to be used by our foundation? Our foundation has the complete software package. One thing we are looking to do is update our info brochure this year.
Helping to update website: This means getting info organized so we can coordinate with our web designers to update site.
Getting your Family involved: I am sure you ask what can I do? Sit down with your family, children too, and plan small events to raise funds. Bake sales, car washes, lemonade stands, getting children’s schools involved and so much more.
Community Service: Do you or someone you know need to put in service hours to a non-profit? We can help with that.
Facebook Fundraisers: The birthday fundraisers that have been run the last few years by our supporters have raised thousands of dollars, one dollar at a time.
As you can see, there are so many areas that you can help beside financially.
Let me take a moment of your valuable time for a special request. We have been doing this for 7 plus years, with an exceedingly small group of dedicated people. We are so grateful for all your support and would love for you to invite family, friends, or business associates to join in our mission to help raise even more for the cancer patients and families in New Hampshire. We may not be able to continue this much needed work, your support is what keeps the Cick Cancer Foundation going and making a difference.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart…
